Inspire Coffee Shop - Inspiration Ministries

PURPOSE
Inspired is a premium coffee shop, a neighborhood place, located in downtown Lake Geneva, Wisconsin employing people with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities where they are celebrated, job trained, coached and, over time, placed into a fully integrated work setting.
MISSION
Empowering people with disabilities to live with greater purpose and achieve their individual best in a thriving environment.
The Geneva National Foundation
2005 to 2019 President, 7 years - Vice President 4 year
Since 2005, the Geneva National Foundation has served special needs residents of Walworth County, Wisconsin with grants for individuals with physical, developmental and mental disabilities as well as area service providers.
Through the support of our generous donors and volunteers, we have raised more than $2.5 million in the past fifteen years. Monies raised provide grants that fund such needs as wheelchairs, guide dogs, retrofitted iPads, occupational, aquatic and musical therapies, specialized playground and tumbling equipment, an indoor pool, Special Olympics uniforms, art programs, karate instruction, noise-reducing headphones, nursing records software and much more.
The primary fundraiser is the annual Lifelong Empowerment Open (LEO) - a summer golf event, auction and dinner at the legendary Geneva National Golf Club in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
Walworth County Economic Development Alliance
2010 - 2016 Board Member, 6 years
In 2004, Walworth County formed an Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) consisting of representatives of each city, village and town, as well as representatives from higher education, public utility and business, to engage each of the stakeholders in a discussion to determine the most appropriate way for Walworth County government to promote economic development.
Following several strategies planning sessions and a study of Walworth County’s economy, a consensus began to develop that an opportunity existed for Walworth County government to serve as the catalyst for public and private leaders to come together to support economic development through. a single county-wide organization.
Walworth County Economic Development Alliance is dedicated to improving the quality of life for Walworth County residents by working with public and private sector partners to advance efforts that create jobs and build private sector investment in our communities.
Calvary Community Church
2010 - 2016 Men’s Ministry Servant, 6 years
Created to equip men to know God greater then before. Grow men to grow in maturity, allowing them to increase love and understanding of God, encourage them to lead their families and cultivate a brotherhood within the ministry.
The team was God centered, prayer focused, community driven, relationship centered, and engaged in growing the Kingdom. The team set up many mission trips, events, and opportunities for men to serve others.
It was a privilege to serve on the committee until our Pastor felt called to head up TEAM ministries.
